Why is it special?
This compote is made with the company’s own rhubarb, a typical plant of the Valcanale culinary tradition. The ribs are harvested by hand, in late spring, when they are juicy and fleshy, and reddish in color.
The apples used are also grown on the farm, and belong to the Florina variety, typically grown at medium and high altitudes.
The compote is sweetened with agave syrup, a sweetener with a very low glycemic index extracted from the agave plant, with a neutral taste.

Storage and recommendations for use
Storage: Store the product in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. The expiry date is printed on the packaging. Once the jar has been opened, store in the refrigerator, taking care to clean the inside rim, and consume within a few days of opening.
How to use the product: Ideal as a morning compote and to garnish cakes and tarts, or for omelets. It can also be used in combination with tasty cheeses.
